Poem: The “dead” season of winter

A time to slow down, burrow, hibernate, rest and restore.

Living [w]holistically is all about that big picture perspective.

For me, taking cues from nature and adjusting my ways to the ways of nature has been a simple-supportive added benefit to managing my wellbeing and overall health (mental, emotional, physical, spiritual).

I shift

as the season shift

because

I am

a natural being.

I fully

open-heartedly

surrender

to the process

Trust

ebbs and flows

welcomed with open arms

I’ve got rivers

and streams in me too

All of me is allowed

the good

the bad

the ugly

I see myself in Mother Earth

because I am of her

I choose to be

enjoy being

this is it.
