Navigating Negative Self-Talk

Some loving truth bombs coming your way.

💣 More often than not, we are self-sabotaging.

💣 We are the ones getting in our own way.

💣 We are the ones placing expectations “shoulds” onto ourselves and/or others.

💣 We are the ones blaming ourselves or others.

All of this gets us stuck in a loop of victim mentality aka negative self-talk aka negative thinking.

“I can’t believe I stumbled on my words during that presentation. I’m a total failure”

“I will never be good at speaking in front of others”

Having the thought isn’t a bad thing.

Thoughts are neutral. They are just thoughts.

It’s what we do with the thought that needs addressing.

If we simply accept the negative self-talk/thought as the truth then we begin to shape our reality from that perspective. Then, our reality becomes that truth because we have identified with that thought.
