The Key to Letting Go
Letting go isn’t about forgetting the past or moving on as though nothing ever happened (aka denial).
The key to letting go is to:
FORGIVE
First, forgive yourself for any harm you may have caused to yourself or anyone else in the situation. Then, forgive anyone else that may have caused any harm towards you.
INTEGRATE
Integrate any lessons or blessings from the situation. Such as, things you would have never learned or earned if this never happened.
FIND GRATITUDE
Find something in the situation that you are grateful for.
Repatterining takes time. Be gentle with yourself.
