Follow the White Rabbit

This tattoo means a lot of things to me:

Yes, it’s a cheeky reference to The Matrix movie which is a reference to the Alice in Wonderland books.

AND

It’s a reminder to follow your intuition, stay curious, get lost so you can find yourself.

One of the first times I experience mania I saw a white rabbit in the alley way behind the house I was living in. I was with my friend and roommate Steve at the time and he jokingly made reference to The Matrix and said “follow the white rabbit.”

I believe that sprit moves through others in guiding us sometimes. That’s what makes life funny.

Synchronicities and signs are not just a random fluke. I believe that they are ways that our souls are speaking to us to guide us back home to ourselves.

Call me crazy, but listening to these signs and following the white rabbit has been the best thing that I’ve ever done for myself. Yes, even having to go through the darkness of that rabbit hole. It was all worth it.
